Please consider this opportunity and share it with any people or networks you know who might be interested! The National Instructional Materials Access Center (NIMAC, an OSEP-funded project) is especially looking for those skilled braille transcribers who are also good instructors! Follow up with Nicole if you have any questions.
Best wishes,

Opportunity for Skilled Braille Transcribers
The NIMAC is pleased to announce an opportunity for skilled textbook transcribers! The NIMAC seeks to contract with one or more experienced transcribers to provide training in the use of NIMAS files to prepare braille textbooks.
We are now accepting proposals, and the full details can be found in the attached Request for Services (RFS). The specific requirements for the work are found primarily in "Supplement A" and "Supplement B" of the RFS.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is June 11, 2021, and the training itself will be offered in late summer or early fall. (More details about this to come!)
We invite you to submit a proposal and/or to share this RFS widely!
If you have any questions, please email me at ngaines@aph.orgmailto:ngaines@aph.org. (Please note that all questions from prospective vendors will be collected, and a group response will be sent out and posted on the NIMAC website.)
Thanks!
